Sensemaking is defined as the way of materializing meanings that inform action. To say that meanings materialize is to say that sensemaking “is an issue of language, talk and communication. Situations, organizations and environments are talked into existence” (Weick et al., 2005). At the core, sensemaking “is not about truth and getting it right. Instead, it is about continued redrafting of an emerging story” (Weick et al., 2005). In this light, I hope you will enjoy this interactive map that takes you on a journey through my own sensemaking of the world.
