If you work in User Experience or Instructional Design, you know how the process works:

Research, Document, Design, Deliver

It is about identifying patterns.
It is about understanding.
It is only through understanding that we can design. As such, it may come as a surprise that the majority of online and face-to-face courses are still taught the same as they were 100 years ago. Students sit in the classroom or log into a learning management system, access 1-2 hour long lectures, and leave with minimal interaction with their peers.

I propose that through  ideating, prototyping, and implementation, we can redesign learning experiences in a way that flows with the learner’s thinking.

For this course, we first start with the foundations of UX and learn to apply these themes to Learning Design.
